Using AI and Betting Odds To Predict The Next Super Bowl Winner

One of the best things about our job is writing and thinking about predictions for a lot of the day. When we get to work, we are thinking of things to write, whether it be about the rise of AI in logistics how to keep your internet safe, or, like today, who will win the Super Bowl.  It is varied, and I love what I do.

The main issue we have is when we tell people what we do and they want to hear our predictions on the future of AI and other tech-related ideas like we are oracles because we work on a tech site. This even stretches to football, which spawned the idea for this post today, so we decided to combine AI and odds from our favorite betting site so we can finally give these people the answer they want.

Kansas City Chiefs

If you go onto every single betting site that you use and look at who the favorite is to win the next Super Bowl, it will be the Chiefs. They are the favorites and there is a large chance that we see them pick up another ring when this season comes to an end.

The betting site we looked at, Boylesports, has Chiefs as clear favorites and the AI agreed, last night they played and kept their unbeaten record and with the NFL odds & streaming at Boylesports, we could watch ourselves win money and further cement them as favorites in our head.

There are a few reasons why the Chiefs are the favorites, and the person who spearheads this is Patrick Mahomes, who is the best player in the league. They even have a good backup for him in Carlos Wentz, who can easily cover if Mahomes misses a game or two.

They also have the best coach, Andy Reid, who has been the HC for the Chiefs for 12 years now and knows the team like the back of his hand. In the six years since Mahomes has been a starter, they have appeared in four Super Bowls and won three. Yep, three.

With Mahomes, HC Andy Reid, Chris Jones, and Travis Kelce counting them out would be a very silly decision.

The Buffalo Bills

I think the sheer mention of the Bills and the Super Bowl in the same sentence may fill their fans with some slight PTSD so we are sorry in advance. However, the Bills have a fantastic team and the odds and the AI program we used have predicted the Bills as close favorites to the Chiefs.

The main issue with the Bills is their Super Bowl curse, since the merger they have gone 0-4 in the Super Bowls they have appeared in including a three-peat of losses in the 1990s. Obviously, this is a horrible record and there is some mental block or curse surrounding the club but they have a chance this year.

With it being 30 years since their last Super Bowl appearance and them being in the same league as the Chiefs, they do have a lot to overcome, but with players like Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, and Jordan Poyer, there is a chance they can overcome their curse this year.

The Other AI Options

With AI, they gave us a few options and then who they saw as the favorites, and the other options were The Philadelphia Eagles and The San Francisco 49ers.

Both of these teams are fresh off two Super Bowl losses to the Chiefs and will both want to come back and get their revenge. With both of their teams being good and having stars, we expect one of these to face the Chiefs in the Super Bowl next year and hopefully, we have a new winner for the first time in 2 years.
